Free Online Photoshop
It is easy to make a comparison between Photopea and Photoshop. Both have very similar workspaces and use the same tools and capabilities. Photopea is the clear winner because you can do many of the same things as Photoshop in Photopea, and it’s all free.

How to use the Photopea editor?
This tutorial will only cover the most important aspects. It has many of the same features as Photoshop if that’s what you know. Let’s suppose that I want an image added to this blog post. Let’s show an image from Photopea’s homepage for the first header. To begin, go to the website and open the image editor.
1. Get the image ready
Here, I will take a screenshot from the homepage of the editor. You can use any image that you like. In this instance, I saved the screenshot on my computer.
2. Open Your Image File
Click “File” at the top of the site. Then click “Open.”
3. Use the Photopea editor
You can adjust the image using the tools to the left. You can crop, clone, and add text to the image.
Photopea – Resizing Images
It is helpful to have an idea of the ideal dimensions for your blog. There is no single size that fits all. It will depend on your topic, audience, and site layout. Let’s suppose I need to resize an image, so it fits on the website. I make sure images are correctly sized for the web.
The image in this instance is a little too big for me. It should be 1024 inches wide. Every pixel matters when it comes to filing size, especially if you want to please Google’s algorithm for website speed.
Photopea allows you to “Image size.” by clicking on the Image option at the top of the nave bar.
You can adjust the width and height to meet your needs. You can also alter the dimension type. You can also choose to change the dimension type. This includes pixels, percentage of original image, millimeters, or inches.
After you have made any adjustments, Click the OK button.
4. Save Your File
There are a few options available when you want to save your File in Photopea. You can save your File as a PSD/PSB or export it to many different file types.
This tutorial is not going to be in a JPG format.
- Click File, Export as, and select your file type.
- The app will ask for details about each File depending on its type. If you are uploading a JPG file, the app will ask for information about image quality, format, dimensions, and metadata.
- Make final adjustments, then click Save.
- The image will then be saved to your device.
Use Photoshop PSD File Templates in Photopea
What if you already have a Photoshop PSD file that you can use for a blog template? As you can see, I have a particular template that I use for tutorials.
Each image with the grey circles and arrows is my PSD image template.
- Click on File, and then click Open.
- Choose the PSD file that you wish to use in Photopea.
- Photopea contains all layers that I have created in Photoshop, as you can see.
- You can edit your blog images from this page.
Moving layers around use the same drag and drop functionality as Photoshop. If you want one image in the back of your list, drag it to the end.
